 ・2004-2008:Director, International Nuclear Energy Cooperation Division, Nuclear Disarmament, Non-Proliferation and Science Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan(MOFA)

 ・2002-2004: Senior Assistant for Legal Affairs, Treaties Bureau, MOFA

 ・1997-2002: Special Assistant to the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)

 ・(After joining MOFA in 1970, prior to the above professional experiences, he served in the headquarters of MOFA, at Economic affairs Division of the United Nations bureau, Personnel Division, Legal Division of the Treaties Bureau, Second South East Asia Division of Asian Affairs Bureau, and International Agreements Division of the Treaties Bureau. His overseas assignments of MOFA include Embassy of Japan in the United States, Embassy of Japan in Saudi Arabia, and Embassy of Japan in Austria. He also served in the Legal Division of the IAEA.)
